    AUTOMATIC CONFUSION

    Having read the article Automatic problematic in your August 2019 issue, why were certain auto ‘boxes omitted? It did not cover DSG, nor Tiptronic boxes, to mention just two.

    Another concern is if you are going to buy a new automatic car and you ask the salesperson to inform you of the type of auto ‘box in the car, I doubt you will get an answer, never mind the correct answer.

    How about a different auto code for the different transmissions in your price section of CAR Guide other than just differentiating between automatic and CVT?
