TUNING DILEMMA
y pride and joy is a standard 1992 Toyota Corolla 1600 Twincam GLI with the 4AGE 16V engine. It has done 180 000 km but is still in a good condition. Although still exciting to drive thanks to the 7 500 r/min redline and its free-revving nature, it cannot be compared to the modern turbocharged hatches in terms of performance. I need advice on fitting an induction kit, hot cam, free-flow exhaust and chip-tuning the engine as a start. If this is not enough, I am considering turbocharging and, as a last resort, nitrous injection (Nos). This surely should allow my old Corolla to keep up with modern
