FOR CYCLING THIS 90:10 RATIO may be slightly more skewed towards the physical than that shocking statistic, but nevertheless the mental preparation for most riders is completely overlooked or at best a cursory 10-minute mental talk to oneself before their biggest race of the year. We all have our own emotions, thoughts and beliefs, and all of these can influence how you behave and how you perform on race day.
