TWISTED TALES BUT WHAT IF THEY’RE NOT FRIENDLY?
When I was growing up, my afterschool activities were scheduled on my behalf. Since I was often into things I shouldn’t have been, I’m sure this was well thought out by my parents. There was church, choir practice, piano lessons, and girl groups of some sort. There were no horse activities that I would have cheerfully attended. For a long time, I jealously guarded my free time and only did things that I wanted to do. Joining clubs wasn’t high on my priority list. Little did I know there was an endurance club and a competitive trail club available for my riding enjoyment. Now we’re talking!
