Pad Thai
Serves 4
Pad Thai can seem a little daunting to make, but is actually quite simple to prepare at home – and tastes amazing.
You will need:
✽ 200g dried thick rice noodles
✽ 1tbsp fish sauce
✽ 1tbsp tamarind paste
✽ 1tbsp light brown sugar
✽ 3tbsp soy sauce
✽ Grated zest and juice of 1 lime
✽ 1 red chilli, chopped (optional)
✽ 1 tbsp vegetable oil
✽ 200g raw peeled king prawns
✽ 5 spring onions, finely sliced
✽ 2 garlic cloves, crushed
✽ 120g mangetout (or use peppers, green beans, broccoli, etc)✽ ✽ ✽ ✽ ✽
