lost out on love as the Bachelorette, but Hannah Brown scored something she’s happier to have and to hold than her Mirrorball trophy. After earning a perfect score for her freestyle dance with pro partner Alan Bersten, the Alabama knockout bested Season 28 finalists Kel Mitchell (), pop star Ally Brooke and country singer Lauren Alaina thanks in part to the audience’s vote. “That is what’s been so amazing for me—to feel so much support through this year,” an exhausted Brown said the day after her big win. “I’m really thankful.” And while Brown admits she was “so shocked” by the outcome—“Everybody was so talented and was just as deserving as I am”—Robert Mills, ABC’s senior VP of alternative series, recognized her prize-winning prospects early on. “She’s rootable, an underdog,” he says, “and after her season with Jed [Wyatt, now her ex], it was like Cinderella finally getting to the ball.” So, is Brown’s dance card about to fill up again? Promos for former suitor Peter Weber’s upcoming season of hint at a cozy, if perhaps short-lived, reunion. “Obviously I can’t be in two places at once, and for 13 weeks I was on ,” Brown demurs coyly. “But I think everybody can put two and two together.”
