TOTALLY NUTS...

I’m about to have the top nut replaced on my Fender Telecaster. The folded-up card in the slots just ain’t cutting it any more. This seems like the perfect opportunity to ask you about top-nut material. The old one was plastic, I think. I was thinking of upgrading to bone, but is that the best option? I read that brass was good, but then there’s modern slippery stuff like Tusq to consider. What do you reckon?
