Major milestones

“MY personal first this year was riding my 15.2hh cob, Percy, from home in Devon to Land’s End, solo, which is a journey of around 120 miles in eight days.

“Percy is my first horse. I bought him four years ago as a 40th birthday present for myself and he has taken me from being a nervous rider to, well, riding to Land’s End.

“My partner and three-year-old son met me for lunch each day and at the end of each day’s ride. I found a field for our camper van each night via social media and in doing so, met some amazingly kind horsey folk.” Liz Parks
