Gina Andrews, ladies' point-to-point champion
WORST YEAR: 2020
“IN 2020 I had a bad fall at Cheltenham, fracturing my eye socket and cheekbone and lacerating my liver. I was riding Haafapiece and remember thinking, ‘I’m probably going to win this.’ I went into the last hurdle thinking I wasn’t on a good stride; the next thing I remember I was on my way to Gloucester Royal Hospital.

“That was two weeks before Christmas, then point-to-pointing was stopped due to Covid, so by the time we were back up and running again, I was fit to ride.”
