There are countless online collectible card games inspired by Magic: The Gathering these days, but there’s one element almost all of them fail to capture: that feeling of a magical duel. A good game of MTG is like that scene in The Sword in the Stone. Merlin plays caterpillar, Madam Mim plays chicken to eat the caterpillar, Merlin plays walrus to crush the chicken.

Though it’s top dog among physical CCGs, previous attempts at bringing Magic onto screens is the best attempt yet.
