NORWEGIAN ENCORE

The 17th ship in the NCL fleet, the 4,000-passenger Norwegian Encore, will feature some of the most spectacular entertainment at sea. It will have the biggest go-cart racetrack of any NCL ship – which includes four high-speed curves with just the sea below; the largest open-air laser tag in the industry and a cutting-edge Galaxy Pavilion where you walk through a virtual reality maze.

There will be two Aqua Parks, a mini one for young children and a bigger one for guests brave enough to whizz down a slide 159ft high and 11ft off the side of the ship.

And Encore’s Broadway-standard shows will include award-winning Kinky Boots and Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical, a one-of-a-kind interactive theatre experience.

Norwegian Encore’s foodie credentials were assured with the announcement of upmarket Italian chain Scarpetta’s first restaurant at sea. Onda by Scarpetta – onda being Italian for wave – will be joined by signature restaurants introduced on its Breakaway Plus-class sister ship Norwegian Bliss, such as Q, for Texas barbecue dishes, and Los Lobos, for Mexican cuisine.
