BEAT THE HEAT

HEAT INDEX 26°C to 31°C

HOW YOUR BODY REACTS Ahh, when you are sitting under an umbrella by the pool these temps feel great. But if you are playing frisbee or tennis, not so much. When you’re super active in this weather you can tire quickly, develop heat rash caused by sweat blocking pores, or get sunburned if you are not on top of your sunscreen game.

Being well hydrated before you head outside to be physically active helps your body better tolerate the heat. Wear loose-fitting, lightweight clothing that allows sweat to evaporate.
