Dr. Lowenstein began his work as a graduate student at Kansas State University in 1972. His Ph.D. is in Counseling and his M.S. is in Family and Child Development. He helped develop the first biofeedback/relaxation program in a university counseling center. Based on his research and personal experience of training thousands, Dr. Lowenstein developed a range of devices and materials to measure stress and teach biofeedback and relaxation skills. Dr. Lowenstein is president of Stress Market, Inc. which offers his materials and instruments via the internet and a consortium of distributors including Amazon.Dr. Lowenstein has published over 40 audio CDs and 6 books on this topic.
