Orange-Glazed Cranberry Streusel Bread
Rich, orange-flavored, and studded with cranberries, this quick bread, topped with streusel, a glaze, and sugared berries is sure to be a hit.
Makes 12 servings Total time: 1 3/4 hours + cooling
FOR THE STREUSEL, WHISK:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 5 Tbsp. cold unsalted butter, cubed
FOR THE BREAD, COMBINE:
2 cups all-purpose flour
11/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. table salt
21/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed if frozen
RUB:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. minced orange zest
WHISK:
1 cup whole milk
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
