SWAP MEET

GM-LOGO HEATER HOSE

Q: I’m an avid reader ofHMMandHemmings Classic Car, and I own many GM cars from the ‘60s. I’d like to buy some GM-logo heater hose, and a number of retailers I have called all say the same thing: They buy it pre-cut. Can you find out who can sell it to me by the roll, in bulk? I have so many GM cars that I own and help friends restore, I’d like to be able to cut it to the length I need.

A: Though it’s not really the typical 50-foot bulk roll that we are familiar with in the auto parts world, you can buy 5/8-inch heater hose with the GM logo (and the square) from Davies Corvette Parts in 102-inch lengths.
