Q: Love your magazine and all the good information. I’m working on a 1973 Nova SS with a 10-bolt rear and 28-spline axles. Can you tell me what limited-slip differential or third-member assembly would fit this car? I would prefer something that I might find in a salvage yard, of course. Any help would be appreciated.

A: Dan, there are multiple possibilities that you can explore to locate a compatible 8.5-inch 10-bolt differential for your Nova.
