    If you’ve spent any time around young people, you may have heard of the gaming phenomenon known as Fortnite. But recognizing the name might be the extent of your familiarity. So what is Fortnite?

    For anyone unacquainted, Fortnite is an exciting co-op survival-shooter game developed by Epic Games that was released in July 2017. Currently there are three different player modes. The first, Fortnite: Save the World, is an online four-player zombie-survival mission set in a post-apocalyptic world. Epic Games released the second mode, Fortnite: Battle Royal, in September 2017, after competitive pressure from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, a similar game.
