1 Ball position is crucial
With fairway woods, the big mistake I see in amateurs is that when they’re under pressure, the ball always seems to go back in the stance because they want to guarantee the strike. The problem then is that you are de-lofting some of your least-lofted clubs, and you’re going to struggle to get it up in the air because you simply won’t have enough loft at impact.
