Miss Porter’s Dilly Bag
Follow Rachael's specific instructions for fussy cutting the shapes required to make this sweet dilly bag. Assembled with her favourite stitching method, English paper piecing, accuracy can be achieved.

Materials
• Assorted scraps of print fabrics, each at least 2½in x 3½in• 25cm (⅜yd) floral stripe print fabric (fussy cut block centres and corners)• 25cm (⅜yd) coordinating print fabric (lining)• Fat eighth pink print fabric (drawstring casing)• Template plastic and permanent-marking pen• 3in Sliced Octagon papers or stiff paper to make your own – see Note• 25cm (⅜yd) lightweight fusible woven stabiliser• 1.5m (1¾yd) pink cord, diameter 3mm (⅛in)• Two wooden toggles• Size 10 or• Glue-basting pen (optional)• Sandpaper or emery board• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat• Sewing machine with ¼in foot• General sewing supplies
