Being a scooter rider in the 1980s didn't come without its challenges. Just to keep one running and reliable were mammoth tasks in their own right. Once out on the open road, the real battle for survival commenced. The main enemy were the bikers, usually made up of those running around on them old YPVS Yamahas - the scourge of the scooter rider and who would do everything possible to make life on the road hell.
