Blooms of Blue
"Firstly, congratulations Quilters Companion on 100 issues! What an incredible milestone. This magazine has been a great source of joy and inspiration for many quilters, including me. It had been a dream of mine to have one of my quilts published in QC and my first quilt appeared in issue 95. This is my fourth project that I’ve shared."

This stunning quilt is a collection of beautiful blues and creams. Cheryl designed the appliqué shapes herself, and the technique she has used is raw-edge appliqué, attached with double-sided fusible web and hand-stitched with blanket stitch. The remainder of the quilt is pieced.
