EXTREME TURBULENCE

The tempest advances. It should reach Florida in some hours. The governor suspends toll collection to speed up the exit of thousands of people looking for refuge in the North. It is expected that winds of up to 260 kilometers per hour will sweep the main cities located in the southern part of the state, in the Panhandle region of Florida. Fear is that the hurricane has a devastating effect, comparable to that of the Katrina, which, in 2005, has left an unprecedented path of destruction.

In the middle of the tumult, a characteristic roaring of four Allison T56-14 engines coming from the sky intrigues who is in the ground. How is it possible that an aircraft is flying? After all, wind speed already exceeds eighty kilometers per hour while the main airports of the region remain closed… And what is most impressive: Why is it heading south, towards the tempest from which everybody is running away?
