Brad Biggs: An opportunistic Bears defense could help the scuffling offense with timely turnovers

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was standing on the Packers sideline during the season opener a year ago when he got a sense for what made the Bears defense truly special.

Clinton-Dix had a close-up look as Khalil Mack sacked DeShone Kizer at Lambeau Field, stripping the ball from the quarterback and recovering it after the Packers had reached the Bears 9-yard line. Minutes later, Mack picked off Kizer and returned it for a touchdown, the first two of the defense's NFL-high 36 takeaways in 2018.

"The way those guys came out and played fast last year, it was unbelievable," Clinton-Dix said. "I have always watched Eddie (Jackson) since he came into the league. So
