    LOS ANGELES - As officials search for the final victim of the worst maritime disaster in modern California history, the U.S. Coast Guard hopes to soon raise the sunken Conception boat where 34 died from Santa Barbara Channel.

    Officials planned to begin the process Friday, but that was put off because of weather conditions and safety concerns.
