‘Shakespeare Express’ team could serve 2022 Commonwealth Games and more in future

THE North Warwickshire Line is set to be developed as a main line heritage railway under the terms of a ground-breaking new partnership with Tyseley-based Vintage Trains.

On June 12, the West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) and Vintage Trains (VT) launched a new partnership deal after the Train Operating Company’s flagship WR 4-6-0 No. 7029 Clun Castle rolled into Birmingham Moor Street station.
