MEMBERS of the 1722 Waggonway Group have unearthed a section of what is believed to be the United Kingdom’s oldest railway.
Working with East Lothian Council archaeologists, the community-based volunteers excavated a section of the course of the Tranent and Cockenzie Waggonway over the weekend
