Friend of AJ Freund's mother describes the day when 5-year-old boy was reported missing
CHICAGO - A woman described in police documents as a "very close friend" of the mother of Andrew "AJ" Freund said Thursday she previously knew nothing about the tragic circumstances surrounding the 5-year-old Crystal Lake boy's death.
"If I would have known what I know now I would have done a heck of a lot more," the friend told the Tribune.
