WASHINGTON - The Trump administration on Wednesday intensified its campaign to oust the governments of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, slapping a fresh set of economic sanctions on the three leftist-ruled countries.
John Bolton, President Donald Trump's national security adviser, said several banks, companies and individuals from the three countries will be added to an ever-growing blacklist that bars them from doing business with U.S. citizens or companies.
