There’s something ever so satisfying and yet oh-so aggravating when it comes to the – boringly consistently excellent – state of tech today. Nowhere is that more evident than in the world of television. Sweet, sweet 4K (or maybe 8K), HDR, motionsmoothed, thin-bezelled TV.

We’ve just had CES and a few more European-centric telly showcases and I think it’s fair to say that this has been the best year for new TVs.
