Retro BLOCKBUSTERS
Over the last few years, a swathe of retro-styled bikes have cemented themselves in the motorcycle market – and Triumph has consistently been at the forefront of the trend, complementing its iconic Bonneville with an eclectic range of modern classic machines. For 2019 the British factory has updated its hugely successful Street Twin and Street Scrambler – and Motorcycle Sport & Leisure has been out to Cascais, just outside Portugal’s capital city Lisbon, to put them through their paces across a range of roads and riding conditions.
First released in 2016 and 2017 respectively, the new Street Twin and Street Scrambler might not look dramatically different to the outgoing models at first glance, aside from a few subtle styling tweaks – but underneath their stylish exterior Triumph has made key changes to ensure the latest generation bikes are better than ever before.
