Meet Don Wachter, the Bears superfan who has a shot at the Pro Football Hall of Fame

CHICAGO - The turning point in Don Wachter's Bears fandom came during a home game in 1996.

"I saw a guy had a whole bearskin rug. He had it over his head and draped over his back," said Wachter, 56. "It kind of gave me an idea. Can I get one of those heads from a bearskin rug and actually wear it?"
