Scotsman to haul Sir William McAlpine memorial train

THE National Railway Museum, the rail industry and people across the nation will come together on January 11 to honour the memory of Sir William McAlpine, the man who saved Flying Scotsman when it was stranded in the US and made it a permanent fixture of world railway heritage.
The former will run in his memory.
