Italian Scenery on a Chinese Blog

I was born in China. Like many people, I followed the normal path – I went to a good university, and found a decent job. Then I went overseas, graduated with a top MBA degree, and worked a few years in Europe. While I was living in Italy, some beautiful watercolour paintings of Italian scenery on a Chinese blog website captured my attention. I contacted the blogger and it turned out she lived only 30km away! We became good friends. When I learnt that she was self-taught, I thought, “if she can do that, I can as well.” That’s the moment
