A World of Colour

Malcolm Hamilton’s love of art and colour has been an important part of his life as far back as he can remember. At the age of ten and while living in Western Australia, Malcolm had the great fortune to have a teacher who saw his talent. He encouraged Malcolm to enter an all schools painting competition for which, to his astonishment, he was awarded first prize. This was certainly a wonderful accomplishment for a young, aspiring artist who simply painted what he saw, in his own style. From this small beginning, Malcolm continued developing his style, producing works from the colourful Western Australian scenery, flora and beaches as inspiration.
