Then & Now

WHAT started as a fledgling fraternity of young men who were interested in modifying road-going cars and turning them into hot rods has now grown into an industry with considerable size, structure and become a respectable and recognised segment of motoring in NZ. The catalyst for the initial embryo here was the availability of American hot rod magazines, a proliferation of aging American cars and good old Kiwi ingenuity.
