No sign of clarity over customs checks post-Brexit

THE BREXIT debate continues, with the issue being discussed in the Lords well after midnight as different speakers spelt out the consequences of a hard Brexit from their specialist knowledge of varying subjects.

For the rail sector and, particularly rail freight, the options are few; apart from hopefully having to do all the 40 or so customs and other checks at inland terminals at the same time as security checks, the number of checks and delays are no different to those which road freight will endure.
