LUSCIOUS & LOVELY ...IT MUST BE JULY!

BLUEBERRY FLAPJACKS

So incredibly easy to make, and delicious with the addition of fresh blueberries. Perfect after a bit of digging in the garden. Crunchy around the edges and soft in the middle! Yum!

MAKES 12- 16

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

■ 150g/5oz butter or spread
■ 75g/2½oz light brown soft sugar
■ 3 rounded tbsp golden syrup
■ 250g/8oz porridge oats
■ 100g/3½oz blueberries

1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/ gas 4.

2. Grease and line a shallow 20cm (8in) square tin with parchment or greaseproof paper.

3. Put the butter, sugar and golden syrup into a medium pan and gently heat until melted. Stir in the oats.

4. Gently add the blueberries and combine, taking care not to burst too many.
