Commonly called water hyssop or herb of grace and often confused with gotu kola, Bacopa monnieri is a non-aromatic perennial creeping wetlands herb. It’s a popular herb in Ayurvedic medicine where it’s known as brahmi after Brahma, the creator god in the Hindu pantheon.
