Q Peter, we have saved up $500,000 for a new house (excluding land) and wish to build in Cranbourne, Victoria. It seems to us the only option is to buy an off-the-shelf builder’s project home at this price level. Are there any other solutions?
A It would be very difficult to beat the off-the-shelf project homes for price. They are mass-produced, ), the money saved could be put towards employing a designer or architect. Who needs a home gym or butler’s pantry anyway?
