• Fat quarter light turquoise spot print fabric (background)

• 25cm (10in) and 10cm (4in) diameter timber embroidery hoops

• 90cm (1yd) light pink pompom braid (edge trim)

• 25cm (10in) square of white felt (hoop backing)

• DMC Stranded Embroidery Cotton in Blanc (White), Bright Red (666), Garnet (816) and Forest Green (989) plus a colour to match the light pink felt

• Embroidery needle

• 15 x 23cm (6 x 9in) red wool felt (bird body)

• 13 x 18cm (5 x 7in) light pink wool felt (bird wings and tail feathers)

• Scrap of black wool felt (bird beak)

• Two 4.5mm ( 11/64in) black safety eyes

• Fibre fill
