Business travellers needing to stay connected overseas need no longer fear coming back to a raft of exorbitant charges – with the digital age upon us, an array of hasslefree connectivity options is available for those in the know.
It’s now possible to zip seamlessly from country to country with the convenience of keeping your own phone number. Optus Travel Packs, for example, give you unlimited talk-time and SMS for $10 a day if you’re travelling in a Zone 1 country (generally, anywhere except Africa, South America and the Middle East).
Telstra’s Travel Pass is similar, giving you unlimited voice calls and SMS for $10 to $15 per day, depending where you’re travelling
