A huge map of the world with Australia slap bang in the middle dominates the wall of the board room of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in Sydney. It’s appropriate given Australia is experiencing a bumper 2023-24 cruise season, welcoming a total of 25 CLIA cruise lines operating 70 ships in Australian waters, including newcomers here, Virgin Voyages and Disney Cruise Line.
Luxury brands returning to Australia this season include Azamara, Crystal, Oceania, Ponant, Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn and Silversea.
