Isn’t it odd that making a living from music often has little to do with the people that actually love your original tunes? I’m talking about the superfans, the ones that really dig what you’re putting out. If you’re an independent musician, you’re probably more likely to make liveable bank from a licensing deal or playing corporate gigs and wedding covers than you are streaming tunes or pulling punters into pubs and clubs.
