So now the Oscars have turned into George C. Scott in "The Hustler." Remember George C. Scott in "The Hustler"? He played the gambler and manager who screamed at Paul Newman: "You owe me MONEY!"
On Wednesday the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced several big changes, including a promise to keep the show under three hours in length.
That change, I can live with. But by creating an "outstanding achievement in popular film" category for the Academy Awards, a blockbuster recognition
