Arson Arrest Made In Fast-Moving Southern California Fire

The Cranston Fire has destroyed five homes and forced some 3,200 people to evacuate from Riverside County. The fire spread very rapidly, expanding to 4,700 acres in just a few hours.

A California man has been taken into custody on suspicion of arson, as firefighters have contained just 5 percent of the blaze that started Wednesday in the Idyllwild area in Riverside County.

The Cranston Fire has destroyed five homes and forced some 3,200 people to in just a few hours.
