Women Photograph Announces 2018 Grant Recipients

Women Photograph aims to shift the gender makeup of the photojournalism community. The organization has presented grants to support the projects of six photographers.

Photographer Etinosa Yvonne Osayimwen had been working with people who fled their homes because of Boko Haram.

Nigeria has been plagued with so much more violence that she decided to expand the scope of her work. She takes portraits of traumatized survivors layers them with photographs of the activities they do to cope.
