A call to action: 1 in 2 black men who have sex with men projected to be diagnosed with HIV if current infection rates persist
CHICAGO - At the Howard Brown Health clinic in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, young black men who have sex with men are routinely diagnosed with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
"In my practice, if I can get people safely through their 30s and potentially their 40s, that's a success," said the clinic's medical director, Dr. John Schneider.
