Suspect In New York City Truck Attack Worked As Commercial Truck, Uber Driver

Sayfullo Saipov, the man suspected of killing eight people after driving onto a bike path in Manhattan, is in the hospital. Authorities say he left a note declaring the attack in the name of ISIS.

Authorities are investigating the deadly truck attack on a bike path in Manhattan that killed eight people on Tuesday, turning attention to the driver's background and motivations and analyzing a note left in the vehicle.

The note referenced ISIS, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told CBS on Wednesday. Cuomo described the incident as a "classic case of a radicalization of a domestic jihadist who associated with ISIS" and told CBS that "the best evidence we have is that he was a 'lone wolf.' "
