Manafort Surrenders To FBI; Indicted In New Phase Of Mueller Inquiry

Both Paul Manafort, who was President Trump's campaign chairman, and a longtime deputy are named in a 12-count indictment. Another Trump adviser has pleaded guilty.

Paul Manafort, President Trump's former campaign chairman, has been indicted on federal charges that range from conspiracy against the United States to conspiracy to launder money. He's now in federal custody, along with his longtime deputy.

Responding to news that Manafort was under indictment related, "Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign."
