CHICAGO - No one does postmortems quite like Cubs fans, who tend to get theirs done before the body is cold.
So even before the Cubs were eliminated from the National League Championship Series on Thursday with an 11-1 loss to the Dodgers in Game 5, they tweeted their anger, filibustered on sports-talk radio and pointed fingers at Joe Maddon and the usual suspects.
It happens every October in every town where a team gets knocked out, but this time the venom seemed a bit more poisonous than usual.
